New Computer Setup

Computer problems start the day you bring it home or if you are in an office setting the first time you log in.

Now that you have your new computer now, it’s likely you have to spend what seems like forever typing in information, sorting through icons, and doing software updates. If you would rather avoid the frustration and problems, we would be happy to do it for you. New computers are commonly plagued with bloatware and sub-standard security software. Let us remove the garbage and help you make friends with your new investment.

We can help prevent long and costly new computer setup routines by using FOG. FOG or The FOG Project is a computer imaging system that allows us to take a virtual picture of the perfect PC with everything installed exactly how you need it for new computers. Then we can basically copy and paste that software over onto any new computer or old computer that needs to be completely reinstalled.

FOG Options

This usually involves an on-premise server that stores the FOG software and the computer image.

However, we understand that option may not work for everyone and therefore we offer a portable system that we bring to your office when you need an image restored.

Finally, the last option but is a cloud-hosted server that stores the FOG software and computer image. Unfortunately, this tends to be the slowest option for most businesses unless you have a 1Gbps link to the internet.

More Details on FOG

The “copy and paste” or image restoration we do takes less than 1-2 hours and we leave you with a FULLY functioning computer ready for your employees to login to. We can even configure your computers and servers to act in such a way that prevents any data loss during the image restoration process. So as soon as the computer is restored the user can log in and get back to work on the document they were just working on.

This cuts customer support time down drastically and prevents time-consuming software reinstallation, extensive troubleshooting, and endless headaches and lost productivity.
